Ugliest Bathroom counter Make-Over for less than $7

After staring at this HIDEOUS bathroom counter for the last 3 years I finally decided to do something about it.  I often wondered if contact paper would work. So, I tried it.  I didn't seek out any tutorials online because I wanted to figure it out for myself. So...here it is.  

It turned out great don't you think?

Recipe: Beulah's Favorite Cake

You might be wondering who Beulah is huh?  Well, Beulah was my grandma.  Beulah could make some mean cakes, cobblers and pies! This....is her favorite cake....

1 box of Duncan Hines Classic Butter Golden Cake mix (can substitute Yellow cake mix)
4 eggs
1/2 cup Sugar
2/3 cup Vegetable Oil
1 tspn Pure Vanilla Extract
8oz Sour Cream (I use light sour cream)

Pre-Heat oven to 325.

Concrete Jungle and Goat Cheese

I live in Los Angeles.  There's a lot of traffic. And people.  And smog. And concrete. 

I dream of the day that I have grass under my feet. Clean air to breathe.  

And pies to make for my neighbors. 

Neighbors next door to the house I can afford to buy, and the yard I can have a garden in...

And maybe a goat named Amy...maybe I'll make goat cheese.

I like goat cheese.

Maybe I'll have chickens too...

I'm off to BlissDom this week....in Dallas.  Maybe I won't come back. :)
